- Mix Dog for Adoption in Boonton, New Jersey, 07005 USNickname: Roxxane TX Posted Breed: Husky (long coat). Roxxane is the most well tempered senior you could ask for. At the shelter in Texas she was very tolerant of them poking and pulling at her to examine her and has been an absolute gem with humans and other dogs. Roxxane has been unlucky in love up to now - she was originally adopted out from a TX shelter in 2021 - although microchipped, no owner reclaimed her. She was then adopted out to a second owner but showed up at the shelter as a stray recently. The microchip was traced to her 2nd owner who refused to take her back so once again she found herself homeless. Now she is coming to NorthStar Pet Rescue who will be finding Roxxane a true forever home - they say the third time's the charm & we are counting on that! Roxxane walks at a measured pace as she has developed cataracts and will run into things if she isn’t aware or her surroundings. She is a gorgeous Husky who is 11 years old and weighs 34 pounds. She is spayed and is being fostered in NJ so she can find a home where she will be loved and secure.
