Mary Poppins is practically PAWfect in every way, and just as sweet as a spoon full of sugar! She is energetic and attentive. She probably didn't have much formal training in her former life, but is super smart and catching on very quickly. She will certainly work for a treat! She loves to take walks and explore, play with toys, is good with other friendly dogs, and loves people of all ages. We suspect Mary Poppins is a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 1 year old and fully grown at 20 pounds. She's housebroken, crate trained and cute as all get out. Mary Poppins needs a home with a physically-fenced yard and another playful dog. She's not a fan of large dogs. If you'd like to meet Mary Poppins, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet Mary Poppins at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
