She seems to be always thinking and noticing. She may come off as a little standoffish at first, but as she warms up she loves a good belly rub and snuggle. She loves car rides and adventures, and would probably be a happy boating dog. Her place at night is at the foot of my bed, but only after my other foster modeled the "art" of co-sleeping with people for her. Hazel needs the company of another interactive dog in her home to help her know how to trust people. She is overly obsessive of cats, and very vocal, so she needs a cat-free home. Hazel really is a special kind of dog who is just what someone out there is seeking.
