I am a 7.5-year-old beautiful brindle lady with the prettiest sugar colored face! I am an owner surrender due to my original family moving out of state for health reasons and unable to take me and my current caretaker that rescued me is unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and nervous. I am said to be dog, kid, and cat friendly! There are no dogs or kids in my current home, but the grandchildren (ages 2-18 years) come over and I am great with them! There is a cat in my current home but it is scared of me so it stays hidden. I am house trained but will need some help learning crate training manners if that is expected of me in my forever home. I enjoy going for walks and even though I may be older, I am strong and it can be hard for my 74 year old caretaker to walk me. At night I sleep on a dog bed or with the humans if they let me. When the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am fine. While outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I’m not really interested in playing with toys but enjoy riding in the car and being with/getting attention from the humans. My current owner says I am a “sweet, smart dog”. She says my previous family loved me very much and she is wanting me to find a family who will love me just as much as they did!
