I am a 6-year-old beautiful flashy brindle girl that is looking for my forever home! Not much is known about my history except that I came from a shelter and spent some time at the rescue transition kennel before finding a foster home. Prior to coming to the rescue, I developed a lump on my rear paw but it doesn’t slow me down or bother me and the vet expressed no concern over it. I am said to be low energy, but I have a playful spirit and will play with toys and play fetch until I become tired and then will nap on dog beds or cuddle with the humans while I snore the day away. I like to follow the humans around to see what they are doing. If I want head pats or positive affirmation, I will nudge the humans as a sign that I want them to interact with me. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I have good behavior and am not destructive, do not jump fences/gates, and do not dig. I am weary of loud cars or things not familiar to me. There are no kids in my foster home so it is unsure if I am kid friendly. My foster mom believes I would do better with older kids/teens. I am dog friend selective and I don’t tend to get along with small or female dogs. I have not been around male dogs at this time so it may be best that I am an only dog if I do not get along with males either. Because I do not live with kids and am dog friend selective, a proper introduction would be needed.
