She is a beautiful Lhasa Apso, about 11 years old and 16-18 pounds (at proper weight, she should be about 14-15 pounds). Samira is adjusting to life at the rescue, and is getting along nicely with the other dogs. She really enjoys going for walks, has good energy, and is in good condition. Samira has typical personality traits known to Lhasa Apsos. She is smart, strong willed, and somewhat independent. Once she knows you, she is friendly and sweet, but can be aloof with strangers. If pushed beyond her comfort zone, Samira can be a bit snippy. She is relaxing better each day, as she gets to know all the new people she is meeting at the rescue, and her fun, silly side is coming out more and more.
