We require an adoption application, a home inspection, and $250 adoption donation. This helps pay for medical care, dog food, and supplies. To ensure we find the best homes for dogs in our care, our adoption process involves several steps. Adopting a dog requires a commitment of love and responsibility for the welfare of the animal, just as you would have for a human member of your family. Please consider the challenges that come with owning a dog as these challenges are often the reason many pets end up in shelters. 1. A home check is done to ensure the dog will live in a suitable environment. 4. A meet and greet will be arranged for the adopter and the dog(s) of interest. 5. An adoption contract must be completed to finalize the adoption process.
