Loki is a 4 year old, neutered Akita. The owner says he was his mom's dog. She passed unexpectedly, leaving behind Loki and his little terrier buddy, Chester, who is also up for adoption. Ideally, it would be great to place them together but it's more important that we just place them each in good homes. Loki doesn't get along with the dog in the family member's house so placement is urgent. Loki is playful, loyal, and very protective. He needs to meet new people slowly and it would be helpful if they know Akitas, he says. He's completely house-broken, (as is Chester). They're both such good boys. Give them a chance.
