Meet Isabelle! She is a 2 yr old female German Shepherd mix that weighs 56lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/15 as a stray. Isabelle is a very loving girl. She will put her hands in my lap to be close and will give kisses. She doesn't understand why she is at the shelter, but we continue to spend time with her, taking out for walks to reassure her we will be here to help her find her own loving family. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. While exploring the shelter yard we had one of our other dogs walking in front of the shelter and she sniffed him through the gate and showed no aggression to him. We do always ask tho if you will have another dog in the family to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Isabelle is a very gentle loving girl that hopes she can find her loving family soon where she has her own secured backyard to run and play in, then back inside to cuddle close with her human companions. Come meet this wonderful girl!
