Adopt Cody a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn German Shepherd Dog / Shepherd

Cody is a German Shepherd mix, 6-7 years old. I adopted him 2.5 years ago from a shelter. He is a 1-2 person dog; he seems to get very attached to one person. He is great in the house, potty trained, calm, no separation anxiety, likes to lay around, not a lap dog, but likes petting. Does not dig, does not challenge fences. Pretty low energy in the house but does like to walk when possible. I am looking for a new home for him mainly because he is not good with children and it is mandatory that my dog is kid-friendly. He is not friendly with strangers and I have family that visit. He can be put in another room/crate when people visit. He has bitten somebody that he was not comfortable with. In short, Cody is low maintenance and needs a low stimulus home with few visitors and no kids. A single person or couple that understands reactive dogs would be best. Ok w chickens and most dogs. I am open to having Cody spend a week or so with you prior to adopting him. Great guard dog.
