Note from simons current temp foster:Simon sez: `Hi! I Simon. I gud boy!` Simon has been in my home as a foster since October 2021! He originally came to me as a medical foster, diagnosed with Valley Fever. Several courses of fluconazole later, Simon is a happy, active boy with no symptoms of Valley Fever and has been taken off the medication. Simon is crate trained - his crate is his bed where he sleeps at night and stores all `his toys.` He does not like to be crated during the day and I work from home so he is rarely alone. He is doggy door trained. He knows basic commands. Simon is VERY active, very high energy. He loves to play, chase balls, destroy fluffy toys that squeak & chew on a benebone. He is living with 4 other male (neutered) dogs and for the most part gets along with them all fine. He can sometimes be “too much` for the older dogs due to his high energy craziness. While he is fine with other dogs, he would be just as happy to be the only dog and get ALL the attention. Simon has been trained to swim and get out of the pool. He loves to play in the water (but he doesn`t really enjoy swimming.) He needs some additional training for going on walks. He has been on bike rides attached to my bike with a special leash & connection. Simon is so very sweet. He would be happy to be sit beside you (or on you) on the couch and smother you with kisses.
