Haven is about 7 years of age. He gets along with others. He is so playful and does best when he has another active young dog to keep him entertained and get his energy out. He likes to play with puppies and can really keep up with them. When he does not have that outlet, he has more anxiety, although not destructive. Haven came to us through our rescue partners in the South where he was treated for heartworms. He does require an allergy injection at this time. We have found that this can lessen over time. currently maybe one month to 2 months in between. Adoption fee is $225 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.
