He absolutely adores people, is good in the house, crate trained, good in the car, good with other dogs, and loves to hang out with you in the yard, fetching whatever you might throw. Around 2-3 years old, Buck knows his basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and has such a fun spirit, you'll just want to spend as much time with him as possible! He was taken to Devore (we don't know if by his owner or his owner's landlord who found him on the property) and, as with most large breed dogs, was running out of time at the shelter. We tossed Buck a life vest: he was just neutered, then moved into a foster home, is potty trained, and seems to have lived his previous life inside. Buck is the kind of dog who lights up a room, has energy for days, and is going to make someone really happy to call him part of the family.The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old).
