Lena is a five-year-old itty, bitty female Pitty/Staffy mix. She weighs around 35 pounds. Lena is a very special girl, who is going to need a very special adopter. She was set out at a local Dollar General and continued to check every incoming vehicle for her previous owners. Took one of our amazing volunteers over a month to catch her. Due to being abandoned and people trying to grab her repeatedly, she has trust issues that her foster is working on. She is fearful of men and would do best in an all female home with older children. She prefers the company of male dogs. Cats are not a good fit. Lena has a silly side and loves to play with squeaky toys. She adores car rides and walks so much that her foster has to sneak to get her keys if Lena isn't going. This girl deserves a forever home of her very own. A home with a fenced hard would be ideal for playtime and exploring.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
