Please welcome Sparky to the 4 PAWS family! He came to us in April through Unchain America after his owner passed away. Sparky is a 10 + year old Shih Tzu, that was hit by a car a few years ago (he takes medication daily for pain). Sparky is extremely sweet, mostly calm except when he can’t see his person (he gets anxious & will bark/whine), loves to play with squeaky toys, and carries his toy where ever he goes, he even takes it outside with him. He does well with both cats and dogs; he has not been tested with children. It would be best if Sparky's new family was home a lot or able to take him along, he does have non-destructive separation anxiety. Sparky is a wonderful dog with a great personality and a lot of life left to live, if you are looking for an older dog he might be your guy!
