He is shy and slow to warm up but once he is comfortable he forms an amazing bond with his people! Andy would do best in the suburbs with another dog, as having other dogs around makes him feel safe. While he does not play with other dogs, he does love to be part of the pack! Although Andy would do best in a home with a dog(s) of similar temperament, he does well with all dogs he meets. Andy is rather independent and likes his space to be respected, he will sweetly seek out affection when he is ready and comfortable! He may seem low energy when adjusting to a new environment, but Andy has a ton of life left in him! He is great on leash and loves his walks - although he is still getting used to the cold New England weather!Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. The adoption fee covers vaccinations (Rabies, Bordatella, DAPP), de-worming, vetting, transport and, per MA and NH law,a minimum 48 hours of quarantine after transport. Dogs that are old enough at the time of transport will also be spayed or neutered.
