Chachi is a 5 year old male Rat Terrier mix weighing in at 33 pounds. If you adopt Chachi, he promises to be your very best friend forever! This wonderful boy is fully house and crate trained. He loves his walks and exploring outside although he is still working on his leash manners. He needs someone that is dedicated to leash training and is strong enough to handle him in the event he gets excited about chasing something. Other than that, he really just loves a good snuggle and lots of attention. He gets along well with other large and medium dogs but would also do very well as an only dog where he can get all of the attention and pets himself. He has a strong prey drive therefore he cannot live with small dogs or cats and will require a fenced in yard to keep him safe. He has made a lot of progress in this regards and we think he is a pretty good learner. He knows basic commands of sit and down and we are still working on the "come" command. We think he would thrive in a good dog training course! He really loves his food and is very food motivated however he is a bit on the chunky side and could benefit from a weight loss and exercise program. Chachi is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations and preventatives and his adoption fee is $250. Can you give this loving boy the home he deserves?##600216##
