Hey all you cool dogs and puppies - I’m Carol. I know you’ll love my soft fur, kind eyes, and dazzling pittie smile. I’m about 2.5 years old and am a medium-sized lady weighing about 40lbs. Other than being really photogenic, here are some more good things about me:I’m a smart gal; I have learned how to “sit”, and I will take treats gently from your hand. I think I would catch on quickly to all the rules and tricks in my forever home too. I enjoy a casual walk in the neighborhood. I walk really well on a leash (I know not to pull) and also at a nice leisurely pace. This way I’m able to stop and smell to my heart’s desire, and sometimes I’ll make a little snorting noise like a pig when I smell something super interesting. After my walk, I might take a quick dip in the kiddie pool but more likely, I'll be ready to head back for my mid-morning nap – I do like my down time after all. I absolutely love lounging and snoozing in my big plush bed; I am gentle with it and know not to chew it up. I love a good post-walk snooze, and sometimes, I will be ready to cut my walk short so that I can get back to my bed even quicker. I would say that I am a balance between independent and cuddly; while I enjoy my time to myself (snoozing in my bed, chewing on a bone) and don’t need constant attention, I also enjoy pets from nice people who take me for walks every day here at ARNO. I might even like a few rounds of fetch maybe.
