Please fill out an application to set up a private meeting. Hey there, lovely humans! I'm your soon-to-be furry friend, a 15-pound, 2-year-old Brussels Griffon bursting with personality. Here's the lowdown on what makes me, well, me: I may have started my journey in Minnesota a bit shy and scared, but let me tell you, I'm blossoming into a confident little companion. Stairs? Nailed it. Walks? Oh, they're a blast! And, boy, do I know how to make the couch or bed the comfiest spots ever. While I adore our walks, nothing beats the joy of cozy naps with you. I'm learning the ropes of being a house dog real quick, and I must say, it suits me just fine. Confession time—I have a soft spot for soft things. Socks, gloves, toys—you name it. I don't destroy them; I just like to keep them safe in my kennel. So, if you're missing a special sock, I might be the culprit! Loud noises, men, children, overwhelming commotion—these used to give me a bit of a scare. But guess what? I've found my safe haven in my crate, and once I'm sure everything's okay, I'm ready to join the party. It would be best if my forever home is calm so I can continue to gain confidence. Potty training is on my to-do list, and I'm getting quite good at it with a consistent schedule. A bit more practice, and I'll be a pro! Let's talk about the good stuff—I'm a cuddle connoisseur. Whether it's a quiet evening on the couch or a naptime snuggle, count me in. While I prefer humans for the main course of attention, I've got a soft spot for my furry friends. Cuddling with resident Cavaliers is a favorite pastime. Having another dog around boosts my confidence, but let's face it, humans are my ultimate favorites. As I cozy up in my foster forever home for the holidays, I bring with me a heart full of love, excitement, and gratitude. Let the adventures in love and joy begin! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
