Meet Sophie Great Pyrenees- English Cream Golden Retriever Mix She will be approximately 70-80#s at healthy weight She's an extra large breed- gentle giant walks 3x a day crate and potty training in progress walks nicely on leash good with kids and cats dog selective (barks at high energy dogs) Sophie came to us emaciated and filthy. She was a stray and when the owner didn't want to come and claim her, she was stuck at the shelter for months. Overlooked due to her size. While in the shelter she became shut down with all the barking and crying. We were able to take her in and she is now learning what home life is all about. She is 100% an attention seeker. Loves affection. She would spend the whole day laying down and letting you pet her belly if she could. She will paw you for extra luvins. Must love gentle kisses and nose boops. She is being fostered with cats but she gets a little jealous if she isn't getting all the attention. Does great with children as long as they know her pawing is for more attention. She gets along with some dogs but does not want the company of other dogs (they have to be on her level of chill). She does well walking on leash and knows commands like sit, shake, lay down, and leave it. She enjoys car rides, sitting quietly in the back seat watching the world pass by outside the window.
