Meet Jay! He's a goofy boy who loves to play! A squeaky stuffy or a tennis ball, it doesn't matter, he loves them all! Jay likes to run around the yard and explore his surroundings. He's just a happy good boy. Jay is a brown Hound/Shepherd mix, what we lovingly refer to as a Tennessee Brown Dog. He was born in November 2022, and came to New Leash on Life from animal control along with his sister Joy. Jay weighs about 45 lbs. and while he is still a puppy and will put on weight, he probably won't grow much taller. Jay has already learned sit and he can't wait for you to teach him more. He is neutered, microchipped, has received age-appropriate vaccines, is heartworm negative, and is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you're up for all the fun a young dog like Jay brings, he could be your perfect match! Call the Adoption Center to learn more about him. And if he convinces you he's the one, you can adopt Jay for $150. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside.
