Meet Keanu, a 8 month old Domestic Shorthair.Keanu is a delightful, tender-hearted boy who would thrive in a tranquil environment. He enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive in a household with feline companions. He is not particularly fond of being held, but he thoroughly enjoys receiving affectionate pets. Every now and then, he may even seek out your lap for some additional love. He kindly requests for some time to adjust to his new environment, allowing him to demonstrate his affectionate and endearing nature. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
