Cooper is a 6 year old pure bred, AKC Yellow Labrador Retriever. Cooper joined our program after being found by family members in a home with his owner who had sadly passed away. Cooper is an active boy and will play ball all day long if given the chance. He loves other dogs and is friendly with humans of all ages. Cooper does have thunder storm anxiety so we are looking to place him in a home in the PNW where crazy crashing thunder storms aren't as much the norm as in S.E. Texas.Adoption processSTLRR has been adopting out dogs from our program to out of State families for many years. All dogs in our program are available for transport, that we arrange, unless otherwise noted. There is a transport fee of $250 for dogs going out of state.Shelter locationMost of the dogs in our program are located at our home-like facility outside of Houston. We do ask that adopters submit adoption applications prior to scheduling an appointment to visit.
