04/07/2023Meet Bobi! He is a handsome fully house trained white boxer with natural ears and a long tail. He is approximately 5 years old. He is an OS due to needing to be the only dog in the house. Bobi’s favorite thing in the world is to cuddle up with his people on the couch. His best life includes a warm dog bed and soft couch to lay his head. His people describe him as very affectionate. He loves to go on sniff walks in open fields and green belts away from other dogs. He's good on a leash and when he feels the tug of the end of the line, he’ll come back. While he’s not interested in toys, he has 2 favorite bones and his people will be sure to give you the details on those. He needs to be the only dog in the house. He wants someone to be his absolute best friend in the whole wide world, but also their only doggy friend. His ideal family has an adult home with him for most of the day as he continues to learn to settle in his crate quietly while being separated from his favorite people. When everything yummy is put up and away, he does really well being left out to roam the house and will usually go sleep on the couch. If you plan to crate him, tight living quarters where neighbors may be disturbed would not work out for him while he continues to work on his crating manners. He has gotten along very well with older children who have good dog manners. He likes to sit next to them while they read to him or play video games. He has never lived with cats, so it’s unsure if he’s feline friendly. If you’re looking to be a one dog house with a couch cuddle buddy, he may be a great companion for you!
