Adoption processThe adoption fee for dogs/puppies is $85.00. This fee includes:Spay or neuterHeartworm testing2 DHLP/PC vaccinations, 3 if very young puppies and rabies vaccinationWorming and dippingMicrochipping and/or tattoingSometimes the adoption fees are reduced if the pet comes in already spayed or neutered. Sometimes the adoption fee may be higher than the regular fee if the pet requires more veterinary care. References, from your vet and local shelter, animal control agency, or rescue group, are required for non-local adopters. Our shelter strives to make sure that each animal goes to a permanent, responsible and loving home. Pets are not ready to go home the same day. All pets are spayed or neutered before they are allowed to go home. Please call to check on the availabilty of a specific pet, not all pets listed are at the shelter, some are in foster homes. The adoption fee for cats/kittens is $60.00. This fee includes:Spay or neuterFeline leukemia testing2 CVR-C and Leukemia vaccinations and rabies vaccinationWorming, check for ear mites & treatment, and flea treatmentMicrochipping and/or tattooingSometimes the adoption fees are reduced if the pet comes in already spayed or neutered.
