From Bailey's Foster Mom: Bailey is very shy and will initially hide when new people come over. Once you earn her trust, she is playful and loves to snuggle. She gets along well with other cats and has great litterbox habits. They would love to see Bailey and her sister Rhea adopted together, but they think she would do ok on her own. Bailey and her sister Rhea were left outside in a trailer park south of Adams when their owner moved away. A neighbor saw them the next day and started feeding them but couldn't take them in. She reached out to rescues and was told they were full and if she left them at the rescues, she would have to sign an acknowledgement that they could be euthanized. She was sick at the thought of that. This lady's daughter is one of my sister's students in Adams and mentioned the 2 cats in class. My sister reached out to me to see if I could take them. Please go to "Site Map" under the home tab and click on the "Forms and applications" tab to find an application. Allow 2-3 days for us to process your application A volunteer will contact you and arrange for you to meet the pet you have chosen to see if it is a good match. If all is well, you will sign an adoption contract, pay an adoption fee and you will have a new family member. All cats are spayed and neutered as part of the adoption. They may be tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) for a fee of $15.Shelter locationTo see the cat you would like to adopt, please call or email us and we will make arrangements for you to meet him/her. We also host adoption events periodically at Petco in Plover, WI.
