Minnie is a great dog learning how to be a dog again. Since being in foster she’s learned to walk on a leash, sit, “go to bed” and shake. She’s probably the quietest Shepard in the world. She loves to please, very loyal, and really motivated to learn.Minnie is extremely smart and would do best in a home that will continue her training on a consistent basis. She’d make an excellent hiking, running, camping, and swimming partner. She has all the indicators of being an amazing agility course dog or a dock jumper. She loves to leap in the air for toys while chasing them. She’s 100% potty trained, using the dog door to go out. She will also entertain herself for hours swimming in the kiddy pool and chasing her toys. She LOVES playing fetch and is pretty good at bringing the ball back. She is also perfectly fine mirroring your energy and napping during the day if the house is quiet . She’s not much of a barker but very alert when she hears something that needs attention. She’s been living with 2 large dogs and a small dog. Although she has some herding tendencies, she does just fine with them all. She would love to have a play buddy to romp in the yard with and again, LOVES happy positive attention. She reacts very well to your voice if you need her to do or not do something.Minnie has not been around children, dog parks or many random people yet. Slow introductions could be fine. She really enjoys going on car rides and just sits in the seat or looks out the window. She’s really an amazing girl who needs a loving person or family.
