Joyful Jazzy, a true dog of the north, loves prancing about in the snow and eating it! This playful 19-month-old pup is 35 pounds of sweetness and silliness and is seldom seen without one of her toys in her mouth as she follows her foster mom through the house. Friendly and affectionate, she loves cuddling and snuggling with her, resting her head on her and rolling over for belly rubs, acts gently towards the two resident youngsters and gets along well with other equally friendly dogs. Fond of ice cubes -- yes, ice cubes -- playing fetch and going for walks, she’s endlessly curious, walking best with a no-pull harness to curb her enthusiasm. Jazzy’s favorite toy so far is a squeaky tennis ball, while bully sticks seem to be her favorite treats, and speaking of treats, she accepts all of them gently. Motivated by food, love and toys, she’s currently working on “come,” “stay”, “off,” “down” and “leave it,” is crate trained and almost fully house-trained. Now Jazzy is eager to bring joy to a loving family that will patiently perfect her puppylike manners, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $300.
