Potato is a 14-week-old cuddle bug looking for her fur-ever home. She is always the first to snuggle up for a nap and can frequently be found making herself cozy on someone's lap. When Potato isn't getting cuddles, she loves to play and will never turn down an opportunity for some wrestling time with her sister or foster brothers. Potato weighs about 12lbs and will likely be around 30-40lbs when fully grown. Potato was surrendered to us with her 7 siblings after the previous family had an unintentional litter of puppies and needed help finding the puppies good homes. Potato's mom is an Australian cattle dog and her dad is a pug. Potato has been in a foster home with her sister Chip, but she is looking for a forever home of her own. Potato is the perfect mix of crazy puppy and chill couch potato and will make sure to keep you on your feet with her love of playtime. She is looking for an active home that can keep her busy mind and body enriched but also wants a cuddly puppy to spend downtime with. Potato can be a little shy in new places and when meeting new people, but with some time, she can quickly warm up and then she makes herself right at home. Potato is a smart, food-motivated girl and has already learned her name, and how to sit and come when called. Potato has done great with the other small dogs in her foster home and could be a great little sister to another playful dog. She also could do well as an only dog as long as she has lots of doggie friends. We haven't seen Potato around cats, but she may do well with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Potato has done great with the kids in her foster home and could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Potato is still working on her housetraining but has been making great progress. Her new family will need to be patient with her while she is learning and expect accidents. She has been doing well with her crate training and will sleep through the night in her crate. She has always been with her sister, so she will need some time to adjust to being on her own and needs a family with a schedule that will allow Potato to slowly be acclimated to being home alone.
