American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for Adoption in Techny, Illinois, 60082 USNickname: Marvin **URGENT** Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). FACING EUTHANASIA!!! Due to mental decline in the animal control environment!! Marvin is a lovely boy around the age of 11 months to a year old. He was lost in the Des Plaines area and when his owner was found they decide they no longer wanted him. Marvin wasn't prepared to go from living in a home to immediately being jailed in animal control. Poor guy is not doing well in the kennel and is losing his little brains there. We are offering Marvin rescue backing with free training to whatever family steps up to adopt him. We assessed Marvin and saw that he is a nervous guy when he first meets people. This pup was not socialized well, however with that being said he is a peach when he warms up to you. Marvin loves playing with other dogs, he doesnt mind cats. His first impression of a toddler was very sweet and he really only showed fear and alert barking towards new adults. After some interacting he warms up and lets you pet him and hang with him no problem!! Please consider reaching out and inquiring with us about Marvin. He is already fully vetted and neutered, he just needs a home environment asap!! We do think he would do fine with a friendly dog housemate.
