Hi everyone, I’m Sito and I can’t wait to meet you. I love people and I’m learning how to politely greet them; I like to jump to tell people how excited I am to meet them! I love getting physical affection. I do enjoy chasing tennis balls and playing with toys. I’m crate trained and like to go on fun adventures in the car. Here’s more info from the “hot dog lady,” or I guess she’s called the behavior specialist or something. Sito is friendly and overly excited on kennel approach. He tolerated all body handling well including tail pull and mouth check; he is easily over aroused. Sito is very engaging in his interactions with people and learning to be more polite (not jump). Like most dogs, Sito loves treats and takes them very politely. Sito walks nicely on leash when held accountable for polite leash walking. He does respond to verbal and leash corrections usually on the first try. Sito loves other dogs and is very assertive in his initial meetings, which not all dogs will appreciate. He has met several dogs and very quickly moves to play even if the other dog is not ready. He has a very physical play style, but does respond/respect when dogs correct his excitement. Sito was surrendered due to him not being a match for his family’s lifestyle. Sito did live with young children. He is a high energy, active young dog that requires an outlet for his energy level. He is very playful and would do well in a home with another dog that has an equally matched play style. Sito seemed overly interested in our office cats; with polite and slow introductions, she could learn to co-exist with a cat. He is looking for a strong, confident leader/handler that he can trust to guide him through this next chapter. Sito will fit well into most adoptive homes with some structure, clearly communicated boundaries and activity to meet his needs.
