Adopt Roxie a Brown Tabby Domestic Shorthair / Mixed (short coat) cat in Bolton

Roxie is a 2 year old tabby cat who is a fighter. She along with her siblings arrived to our rescue back in Sept 2021 when she was only 5 months old. At that time she was ball of fire who was not fond of people and hissing whenever anyone got too close to her. With a lot of time, patience, and squeeze treats, she started to enjoy being pet. She also loves to play especially with a wand toy. Unfortunately, Roxie has had some medical issues. She was diagnosed with FIP in March of 2022. FIP had previously been an incurable illness, but now there is an experimental treatment available which Roxie completed (168 days total). At this time, she does not require any future treatment for FIP. Just like with any animal (as they are living breathing creatures), we can never guarentee what may happen in the future. We are happy to answer any questions an adopted may have about FIP. She was on her way to being adopted when she developed a UTI at the end of 2022 :( After some antibiotics a dna change in diet (she is on urinary food), she is doing much better and is now ready to be adopted. Roxie has been through so much - she loves getting attention from people and she would love nothing more than to find her forever home if someone would just take a chance on her! Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.Location: Bolton, CTAdoption Fee: $225##1218272##
