Hello My name is Penny and I`m Available through Grand Prairie Animal Services! I`m an American Staff mix. I am shy at first, but I can be your lucky Penny if you pick me! GET IT! I love hanging out with my favorite person and playing with my toys, the staff here say I also love to splash in the water. The most important fact about me is I`m working on my training and would love an owner to help. The staff here at the shelter say I love belly rubs and nap time. Depening on my mood, I have high or medium energy and will need just a few walks a day or be able to roam in a backyard a few times a day. In the shelter I might seem barky in my kennel but it`s just because I`m excited to go outside and meet you. I am heartworm positive but my treatment is included with my adoption fee and will be administered at the shelter! During my play groups and assessment the shelter team found that I`d do best with a family where I am the only dog, to be fair there can only be one princess in the house. I`m still working on trusting new people but the crew thinks I have SO much potential when adopted. I`d love to meet a loyal homebody and live my best life. Come by the shelter and see if we`re the perfect match!
