Hi my name is Shane!Despite what you see through my kennel. I am very under socialized which in result makes me very nervous and unsure. Loud sounds and sudden movements spook me. And I am still learning what it means to dog and walk on a leash. I am looking for a home who has the time and patience to help me gain some confidence and acclimate to the home. As of now I am a bigger fan of animals than humans. And I would really benefit from the company of another confident dog to show me the ropes. Or even the company of one of the dogs I came in with. Help me get out of this shelter so that I can blossom into a beautiful confident pup. Stop by the desk for more information on how to take me to my furever home!Adoption processHow do I adopt a pet? Come to the shelter and meet our wonderful pets! Our staff and volunteer counselors are available to help you find a perfect match for your lifestyle. In order to complete your adoption we require the following: Photo IdentificationProof of AddressAdoption Application (available online or fill it out at the shelter)How much does it cost? The Pennsylvania SPCA runs special adoption promotions with reduced pricing on select animals each and every day. The Pennsylvania SPCA regular adoption prices are: Dogs and CatsKittens (under 7 months) — $150Cats over 7 months – $85Dogs over 7 months – $300Puppies under 7 months - $450 Prices vary and are at manager’s discretion.We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks (with ID) and debit cards.
