Hi! I’m Mindy! I am a 2-year-old 55 lb Retriever mix. I've been looking for a forever home for a while now, but luckily, I'm quite patient! I came to the shelter as a super scared little puppy and was able to find a great foster momma to help me come out of my shell. It did take a while but I am lightyears more confident that I was when I first arrived! Now, I'm happy to bask in the attention of my human friends! I *am* still shy when I meet new people so I'm looking for a home where I can take my time settling in. I've been to many adoption events (I'm a great car-rider!) and love laying in my crate quietly observing the goings-on around me. I'm house and crate trained, easy on a leash, and am good with older kids and other dogs. In fact, I'd LOVE a home with another dog! I'm one smart cookie so watching my doggie friend give and get love from our family will help boost my confidence! So just give me just a little time and my inner-awesomeness will shine! Contact the shelter and they'll put you in touch with my foster momma and she'll tell you all about how awesome I am!Adoption processFor the benefit of your new family member we ask that you read and sign an adoption contract (available on our website) which outlines our expectations. For dogs our adoption fee is $195 which covers spay, shots, micro-chip, heartworm test, food, medication, veterinary visits and employee expense surrounding our adoptable animals. For cats our adoption fee is $125, which covers spay, shots, feline aids and leukemia test, food, medication, veterinary visits and employee expense surrounding our adoptable animalsShelter locationDue to the active nature of our property, we always recommend you call before visiting. That being said, we have Team Members who work the kennels Mornings and Evenings.
