Hi!! I'm Nezuko, your new best friend. My human friends say I walk great on leash and know "sit". I also am potty trained! Anyways, I love car rides, sniffy walks, naps, and PEOPLE! I love love love all people and am told I am the friendliest little girl. I can't control myself around humans and will give so many kisses as well as the best puppy dog eyes to receive scratches. There is no denying this girl and her constantly wagging tail and big smile! When not practicing walking right by your side, Nezuko will investigate the path up ahead with a loose leash. She seems to thrive on mental stimulation but this sweet girl loves her down time just as much! Leaning in for some good pets unlocks her ever so sweet kisses she loves to give! She has so many great qualities it's hard to pick a favorite, but her adorable puppy dog eyes are definitely up there on the list! As an added bonus this smart girl has previously proven good in a home with smaller children! Her only restriction is to go to a home with no cats. Nezuko recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say: We went on a car ride to get McDonald's and stopped off at the park for a picnic. We went for a cool walk around Lowe's where she saw a couple other dogs and showed interest, but quickly forgot about them when I went another direction. She was sweet and gentle with my 8 yr old and 11 yr old the whole time. Besides, what I assume is natural interest in the other dogs, she was also gentle and excited for love from the men and women we encountered at Lowe's. She pulled the leash a few times but overall, she walked at pace with me on a loose leash!Did you know that black dogs are often overlooked in the shelter? They are oftentimes the dogs who stay in shelter care the longest and are chosen last due to appearance. Break the stigma and adopt a black dog today. Remember, black dogs are the best dogs.
