Lucy is a 1 year old Lab. She is a big girl who is looking for the right home. Lucy was secluded and not properly socialized with other animals or people, other then her family. We are working with Lucy to help her build confidence. When she feels comfortable she is a playful silly dog who does like your affection. Lucy may do well with another dog to teach her the ropes. She is learning to walk on a leash and will require a fenced yard. She is recommended for a quiet adult home where she can settle in at her own pace. The good news is that Lucy is still a baby and with the right family she will prosper! Come say hello to sweet Lucy at the Orphanage today. Adoption processAll potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age. An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.Shelter locationOur orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning. On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
