Meet Atkinson! Atkinson is approximately 2 years old and came to Saving Hope with over 80 other dogs last year as part of a hoarding case. This handsome guy has watch most of the other dogs from his group get adopted and now it's his turn! He is a terrier mix and weighs around 28 pounds.Atkinson has a heart of gold and is a super sweet dog, but will need a very patient adopter to see how wonderful he is. Like most of his hoarding case, he takes awhile to warm up to new people-especially men. Once he gets to know you, he is a loyal companion who loves nothing more than to hangout behind you on the couch! He has spent his whole life with other dogs and would do best in a home with other pups. Large and small dogs have both been his playmates in his foster home and he has also gotten along fine with the kitties there, too! Atkinson is fully potty trained and does great in him crate when his foster parents are gone (but also is fine left out over night).
