Gus is a 3-4 year old guy that is a bundle of energy and loves out of cage time to hop, jump and explore. He has potential to bond with another male chinchilla to spend life with. He takes treats gently from you and will allow you to pet his head and around his ears. Gus came from a home in which life got too busy as the kids became teenagers and no longer had time for him. If you are considering adopting a chinchilla and unsure if this would be a good pet for you, please ask us. We do NOT have a facility & all animalsare seen by appointment only, after an application hasbeen approved. Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed.
