Simone is a beautiful blue crown conure, estimated to be around 21 years old. She is a vocal bird, singing, purring, laughing, and squawking. She is hand tame, exhibiting distinct body language when she does not want to step up. Her favorite toys include shredding and preening toys—especially ones with string; she will also play with foot toys. An ideal home will give her ample attention, encouraging her to take baths, providing her with stimulating toys, and supplementing her pellet diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Because of her volume levels, she would not be suitable for a living situation with shared walls.
