INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Southpaw is a small, utterly adorable magpie harlequin who was dumped/rescued from the Hollywood Hills. He was dumped with his brother who look very much like him. Southpaw got his name because he has grey coloring around his left eye! His brother has coloring around his right eye. This is how I tell them apart from one another! He is the BEST little bunny! So cute and cuddly! He enjoys being held and petted. He eagerly awaits you to notice him and pick him up when passing by his bunny bungalow! He loves is wooden hidey box to relax under or hop on top of! He is fully grown and won't get any larger. He currently weighs 3.4 pounds. He was neutered on May 27, 2023. He already has excellent litter box habits. Southpaw should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Southpaw can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
