Marissa was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere with 13 newborn puppies. She was in obvious need of assistance with no food and shelter in site. She was loving right from the start, welcoming our help and caring for and nurturing her newborns wonderfully. With steady proper nourishment she was able to nurse each and every one of her pups who are all thriving to this day. Now it's Marissa's turn to be doted on by a family that will welcome her into their hearts and home with open arms, a family that will spoil her rotten and show her just how great life can be. She's a deserving girl, sweet and attentive towards humans; likes to be pet and snuggled. She's not crazy about cats and can show a dominant posture at first greeting with other dogs. She greets us every day with a smile that just brightens our hearts. We approximate her to be around 3 1/2 years old. She's at the perfect age where she's got the puppy mischievous behind her but young enough where she would love daily activity including walks and playtime and plenty of downtime beside her human. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. If interested, please email XXXX@smilingdogfarms.org for an application.
