ABOUT ME: My name is Raisin. I am a sweet gentle old man looking for a home to crash in while I gain some weight so I can get my heartworm treatment and dental surgery.FOSTER TYPE: Healing and ComfortFOSTER REASON: I am being treated for heartworms, so I will need a calm home to relax in due to being under exercise restriction while undergoing treatment. This means I will need to be a couch potato and go for leash walks only! I also need some dental work done too! My foster parent should be comfortable bringing me to the shelter periodically for scheduled vet appointments.DREAM HOME: I'm not picky! Any place with some love and treats will cheer me up! There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies 0-6 months: $150Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75CHECK WEBSITE FOR CURRENT SPECIALS The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup. Kittens: $150Cats: $75CHECK WEBSITE FOR CURRENT SPECIALS The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include feline rhinotracheitis, caleci and pan-leukopenia, Bordetella, and Rabies if at least 4 months old), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip.
