Sierra is lucky enough to have a wonderful foster mom who takes her for breaks when she's in town. Here's what she has to say about her four legged buddy: "If there is one word to describe Sierra - it is a GEM. This sweet, snuggly little lady has been the perfect houseguest and companion for the last couple of weeks, and arguable the easiest foster I have ever had among almost 30 in the past few years. In fact, I am convinced she is more human than dog. Here's why: She's super chill - she is just happy to be around you, hanging out. Whether it's a night home on the couch or joining you in the yard, or patrolling the bathroom door while you're taking a shower. She's a social butterfly - great in the car, and LOVES meeting new people, offering gentle greetings to kids and elderly alike, while also taking direction on when to keep a distance - she just wants to be where the people are. She doesn't bark - at dogs, at neighbors, when she's left alone. Literal silence. Or any other typical dog habits for that matter - she is non-destructive, totally housetrained, very polite in general. In fact, she isn't even motivated by treats or toys - only by love. The ultimate reward for her is a good scratch, and she is sure to let you know when she wants one. She is both adventurous, loving walks and hikes, but also empathetic as she wants to be by your side in support at all times. Her cutest quirk - her wiggly butt. You can not have a bad day when you're greeted by her full body wiggles, often paired with her presenting her "emotional support bone to you when she's feeling happy. This is not to be confused with a normal bone, which a typical dog would, you know, chew. No, this bone's sole purpose is for sharing with you when she is happy. Ultimately, Sierra is just looking for her human. And when she finds them they'll be rewarded with unwavering loyalty, love, and years of companionship. She will adapt seamlessly into a home and new routine, and can't wait to be the house hippo you're always dreamed of."
