This big and oh so handsome guy has been through a lot in the past, and now he is looking for the real thing...someone who will see into his beautiful sparkling eyes, and see the fantastic companion he can be. Alphie is big at 60 pounds, and strong, though he is a puppy at heart. He is a lap dog in training. He loves to carry his squishy toys in his mouth when he goes for a walk and gets so excited when he sees you are coming to get him for a walk. He loves people and takes treats gently and gratefully. He needs someone who is not only experienced in big lovebug dogs, but also someone who has patience and can channel his strength and energy in positive ways. He is a very willing pupil, smart and anxious to please. He really just wants what he has never had, a loving home of his very own and his own peeps to shower with his sloppy kisses and affection. He will need time to decompress and get used to his new forever home.
