Maureen is a sweet, loving beauty who cannot wait to find her forever family! Maureen is a shepherd/lab mix with a beautiful black coat. She is 1 5 month year old and is considered a large-size dog with long lanky legs and weighs about 61 lbs.Maureen is a young, energetic, and active pup. She likes to run and play at playtime and loves to fetch balls. She also enjoys long walks with her humans. She is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs and kids, although she has not yet met a cat. She would thrive with an active family who would take her on hikes or long walks and play fetch with her.Maureen came to one of our partner shelters, HOPE, from another rescue that had pulled her from a high-kill shelter in south LA. She has been a joy to care for, and she is going to love having a family to call her own. We do not know her past, but her future is going to be bright! With patience and guidance, this sweet pup will be a great companion. Maureen is working hard on her crate and leash skills. She is also house trained. She also knows the commands sit and stay and is working on down and come. Maureen deserves to have a loving home with a family who will patiently commit the time required to ensure she gets proper training, lots of socialization, plenty of play and exercise, and all of the love! Could that home be with you? If so, Maureen would love to meet you!The adoption fee for Maureen is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
