Ella is a sweet young Malinois mix who is happy to get out of the shelter to decompress. After about a couple weeks we discovered she is pregnant and since has given birth to 6 beautiful and healthy puppies. Once they are weaned, she will be ready for her forever home! She is showing to be such a loving and tending mother. She has a lot more confidence since she's first come to her foster home. She is liking her crate and will choose to hang out in it sometimes. She is very good on her cot, working on place command, even under distractions. She’s biddable and wants to please. She’s sensitive and needs a gentle and confident leader. She’s really easy to redirect even from big loud noises or barking dogs.She has not been at all destructive and is not much of a chewer. She’s usually pretty tired from feeding the pups but she also had her second case of the zoomies yesterday, so her foster is excited to see how she will be when she is done weaning the puppies.Overall she’s a happy, relatively low drive, velcro dog, and the biggest sweetheart! She would happily lay on the couch and get pets all day. She will be easy for anybody to manage but she needs someone who is gentle and will continue building up her confidence.
