Astra is a wonderful dog, quite small for a Pitt mix (50-60 pounds), and remarkably sweet and playful. She loves to cuddle, play, and lounge in the sunshine. She loves to play fetch and will even swim to retrieve a tennis ball (rare for a Pitt). She is trained very well: house-trained, does well with leashes, not protective of food, will sit/stay, etc.We are having to rehome her due to the drastic life changes we have had in the past year or so, not being able to give her the time and attention that she deserves. I feel that I must stress in this post that Astra is WONDERFUL with our babies- and I say that after watching her closely and carefully because of the concern most people have with Pitts. I have not seen a single instance that worried me: Astra will let our daughter pull on her face/ears, pet her, and play with her in the slightly rough way that small children can play- all the while just licking her gently.
