Big-cuddly-hunter-kitty, AKA big-hunting-cuddle-monster! Get you a cat who can do both.You wake up in the morning and find that Gary has been keeping watch from the highest perch in the cat tree right outside your door. All he asks for immediately is a good-morning head scratch. If you work from home, he may sit on your lap for a couple minutes before selecting another seat in the room and falling asleep. He's pretty quiet and will only meow for breakfast when you're actually preparing it for him.He'll expect a session hunting his feathers-on-a-string-on-a- stick toy before noon. He goes hard and you will have to be careful to not get him panting.Gary will then be content to while away the afternoon exploring, staring out the window or sleeping.When he sees that you've settled on the couch, he'll come over for a lot of scritches and then fall asleep on or next to you. More string toy, dinner and more string toy round out the day for this big guy.His energy levels make him suited for families with other cats and children with gentle hands. He has had a history of excessively scratching his head and ears. Treatment for an ear infection cleared that up while in foster care, but it is something to watch for in the future.BONUS! He'd likely be a great cat for dog people. He's really strong, has some heft to him, plays fetch and loves belly rubs.
