Hi! My name is Poppy! I am a 1 year old female Black Cur/Shepherd mix that weighs around 50 Lbs. I was originally found at the Cost Co. off of 205 in Rockwall on 06/18/23. Sadly, my owners never came for me. So now I am available for adoption and hoping to find my furever home. I am a very sweet girl! It doesn't take me long at all to warm up and I truly love meeting people! I love to go on walks and get plenty of attention. I get along with other dogs and currently have a playmate that I met here at the shelter. We get to go on daily walks and have so much fun together. I don't appear to know any basic commands but am eager to learn and listen well considering my lack of training. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and heartworm negative. Come by and meet me today!All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
